Web Printing: Delete or Edit Webpage Design Using Firefox Browser Before Printing

Printing is fun! Usually when you are about to print some pages coming from different websites.  But did you notice that some ads, design and other unwanted text are also printed out? This will cost you some bucks specially when you are going to print a lot of pages. To help you out, here is an easy step to get rid of those unwanted designs or information with a little bit of help from Firefox extension.

The Mozilla Firefox Extension that I wanted to share with you is the Print-Edit. This tool is an extension on Mozilla Firefox browser that allow its user to edit/delete unwanted webpage elements/designs, so that you can print the only part that you needed and save some inks or laser toners. To start here's how:

First, on the Menu Bar select Tools > Add-ons (Ctrl+Shift+A), Then search for the Print-Edit extension on Mozilla Firefox search box and click install. Click Restart to activate the extension that you installed. Then, visit the WebPage that you want to edit/print, same as the image below. Click the Print-Edit extension toolbar drop down button and choose Print Edit.

It will transfer you to the editing window. To edit or remove some of the page elements, click on the part that you want to remove, then press the Delete button on the menu bar of the window.

After removing all of the unwanted page elements, you can view the print output by pressing the Preview button. If you are already satisfied hit the print button and you are done.

And that will save you much more time and money. To make the editing more faster you can select the Delete Except button, to use this just select the elements that you want to keep and the rest will be deleted.
