Scan in 3D using HP's latest printer

Hewlett-Packard (HP) reveal its first 2D to 3D printing machine recently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The printer model TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 is highly engineered to capture limited-sized 3D objects, like oranges or other types of products and then it will converted into a realistic 2D printout.

This printing machine is aimed to small and medium businesses, allowing them to generate promotional material and images of their products in realistic output just like when using HP CB435A toner cartridge.

Amin Mortazavi, General Manager of HP Printing and Imaging Group, Middle East said: "Today we introduce another great milestone in printing technology, the 3D printer. The printer has a camera on top and takes six pictures of the object, then processes those images, clubs them together and prints an image on paper,".

HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 printer was designed to help/enable small to medium businesses to scan and/or print their items, such as precious metals or stones, accessories, figurines and more, without the need of having expensive photo-shoot of your products. This printer model also uses the HP's e-print system that can be accessed via smartphone or any tablet device and print out your documents or images in best qualities, like when you use the HP CC364A toner cartridge in printing. Then, the system will automatically send a notification if it is printed successfully.

The 3D images scanned can be stored directly to web, like for example if you have an e-commerce website, you can directly upload the image to your online storage, online business page or straight to your online store.
