Even office or businesses that does not use paper, having a printer is required. So, if you are out to find your printing machine here are some things to consider before you start to purchase.

Color or black & white printer?

First, ask yourself if you need to print in color or only black and white. Because if you did not consider this might cause you more money. Printing in black and white using laser printers are very economical just like when using HP CE250A toner cartridge, while color inkjet cartridges are more expensive than toners. But if you are printing for high quality and color, I will recommend inkjet printers.

What are the kinds of paper you are going to use?

Keep in mind that toners from laser printers would not go through the photo papers. Another thing is that typical papers can not stand the heat or high temperature of laser printing machines. Better choose the right kind of printer that will match the types of paper you are going to work with.

Consider the amount of papers that you are going to use.

Printers have their own duty cycle and can function only in a limited number of pages per month. So, if you are going to use your printer exceeding the recommended use monthly, it will possibly get deteriorate easily and once this happened your warranty may not cover this.

Tip: Do not forget that ink cartridges incorporated with original purchase usually are only half-full and the cost of full set of replacement might higher than you expected. Better ask your vendor to guide you in choosing the affordable and yet high quality ink or toner cartridges. Read the article about printer ink cartridge secret to learn more about ink cartridges.

Never mind the price.

Do not select or purchase according to its price. Be sure that your printer is suitable to your business or even personal needs, another thing is to search for reliable brands.

Already decided?

Before you leave the store, double check the product features or specifications of the printer. This might help you avoid future problems on your process.

If you have any questions you are free to email me at denise_rasalan@yahoo.com or else leave a comment below. Thanks for dropping by on my page here is your free TonerBoss coupons have a great day!

Hewlett-Packard (HP) created a new line of LaserJet printers this year, that are especially designed to make small to medium businesses (SMBs) more profitable and reliable.

There are lots of different types, brands, and models of printers in the printing industry these days. The combinations of different technologies and processes makes them more specific for different types of businesses or groups, just like the LED printers that are now combined with color laser models, multifunction processes such as scanning, copying, and faxing that are now offered in inkjet printers, and vice versa. That makes the searching for the right kind of printer a very time consuming task and one of the hard things to do, most especially when you are on a budget.

So, how are you going to find that golden printer that will best fit for your business or working group?

First, Let us define  the words " Workgroup/Business Suitable Printer"

The right Business or Working Group printer must have the good qualities that will provide the needs of the workgroup or the firm in terms of printing, like having a fast printing, expandable memory, optional hard drive, accepts remanufactured cartridges (like, HP CE250A), usable applications, and heavy paper tray capacity. These features will make it more valuable and very functionable to use.

But remember, to best indicate the durability of every printer that you buy, you should rely on its monthly duty cycle data, this will prove that it is worth it to buy.

Here are the other simple steps to guide you:

Match your needs not wants. When you are going to buy a printer, make sure that you are focused in finding the printer that you need instead of your want and remember that it is not about the latest, it is about functionality. By knowing the process of your business or working group and creating a list of functions that you need will help you determine what is the better printer for you.

Laser or Inkjet Printer?. Laser printers are good in printing solid text and graphics, while inkjet printers are excellent in printing colorful images. To help you decide on what is the best for your group or business, try to analyze how many will use the printer for image printing and how many wants a little bit fast but solid colored prints (like, word printing). If you already weighted the users and the needs you can now better decide what is the best to purchase.

Multifunction vs Stand-alone printer. If you already have a fax, scanner, and copy machine them I would suggest that you should get the stand-alone printer. But if you don't have anyone of those it is good to purchase the multifunction printer to help you with the other functions. But remember that once you got the hardware problem or error on your machine one or maybe all of those features will get affected.

Compatibility check. Since that you are going to incorporate the printers in different computer Operating Systems (such as, Windows, Linux, and Mac) it is better to know if the printer that you purchased is compatible with your OS.

Reliability and Cost. In the market today there are lots of printer brands that may vary in price but with the same function or features. You can find the best printer by searching online or going to different stores, doing this will help you find the suitable printer with the processes or functions and quality that you want at affordable price.

The power of 3D printing machine and quality of ink printer is not only for printing industry nowadays, because it is now part of entertainment industry. The upcoming film "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" is the newest movie that will going to release this coming April 27, 2012 by Aadman, Sony Pictures, and Columbia Pictures, believe it or not, it is the product of 3D printing machine and printer inks.

Sony Pictures unveils how they used the latest printer technology and printer inks to create the said movie.

The story is about a Pirate Captain who set out on a mission to defeat his rivals Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) and Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) to win for the Pirate of the year Award. The quest will take the Captain (Hugh Grant) and his crew from the shores of Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian in London.

Ian Whitlock, the company's key animator told Fox News on how animators at their company used 3D printers to generate different forms of mouths for a number of characters within the film.

"We built about 8,000 mouths. For the Pirate Captain model, we made 257 separate mouths. For someone like Charles Darwin, we probably had about 130 mouths." said by Whitlock.

According to Rich Brown, Senior Editor at CNET, told Fox News: "The layers build up in liquid form. The material solidifies as it prints out each layer, and the end result is a 3D object in real life".

In the end, the video looks great and very artistic let us wait for its release in April 2012. If you want to find good quality printers and affordable inks like remanufactured ink cartridges and OEM inkjet, you can visit ColorTonerExpert.com. You can also visit their remanufactured toner cartridges webpage for great laser printouts.

Different hospitals world wide normally does treating wounds of their patients, curing diseases, perform surgeries such as organ replacement, and more, but what about printing different body parts? Sounds weird right? You can ask surgeon Anthony Atala, one of the people behind this great innovation in health care.

Back in March 2011 at Long Beach California, USA, Anthony Atala and other members on their group, introduce this new kind of technology that can be used for treating wounds and replacing different body parts using an inkjet printer. But instead of using OEM's like HP Q6470A toner or remanufactured inkjet cartridges, they use cells and other living organisms to treat patients.

This printer functions like a combination of 3D and inkjet printer that scans the patient before curing their wounds externally, but treating the internal part makes them use CT scan to create a 3D object that will enable them to print it out. Printing can take hours but it can help save many lives, such as printing kidney that could take 7 hours in printing but it can help people to survive (printed kidney structures are early prototypes that are being studied experimentally and are years away from functional and clinical use").

In testing this technology makes Luke M. a college student survive death. He suffers in kidney failure but luckily he is the one of ten people choosed to undergo a serious operation using this kind of technology from Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Now, his good health condition is back and do whatever he wants to do.

Here is the video from TED about the printer that can save more lives in the future.

There are different kinds of papers that you can mount on inkjet printers, the double sided, heavy and thick papers are common. But maintaining the machine and its printing quality is a hard work to do. So, I came up with these few tips that can help in your printing venture.

Always keep in mind that even there are same inkjet printer models they are different in function, operation and specifications. Better not to expect the same result or process of maintenance if you obtained one another.

Here are some useful tips to help maintain your machine in good condition.

  1. Using your printer often requires daily maintenance. You can use cotton art papers and also a especially designed two sided inkjet papers, maintain your feed mechanism clean often. Don't forget to clean the feed rollers of your printer after a box of matte paper you use, because the coating makes each sides very smooth and might result in wrong feed of papers.
  2. In placing your paper on the tray, avoid pushing the paper tray guide against the paper leaving no space in between. The best thing to do is leave more the 1/4 inch of gap between the paper and the guide. Also, place a stiff card stock or even a chip board on the bottom feed of the sheet tray. This will able to keep your paper upright and closer to the feed rollers. But make sure when you do this your print count are set to avoid not to feed the board.
  3. Allow a little amount of air to release excess of coating or paper dust, and to easily separate paper sheets. You can use fan.
  4. Curling the edge of the paper slightly upward. Why you need to do this? It can help the printer to process more easier.
  5. Use your printer's special functions/features (usually on heavy types of paper). This will allow your printer to function correctly and avoid printing errors. Adjust your setting according to the kind of paper you are going to use. Check the printer manual if you want to know more about the settings/options of the printer.

Let's take a short review on Dell's newest multifunction printer. The 1355cnw is the new pal that you can trust in your business, having a nice output and economical LED engine.

So, what makes this printer good for your business? Dell 1355cnw is good to set up for your business using LED engine that fits well in what every person or business need. It does not use huge amount of space, that makes it better for small or medium sized business, also, it has a wireless connectivity and great quality color print outs that can make you more proud on your reports or other printed stuffs.

But, the only thing that makes this thing imperfect is its print engine, that was so slow that makes you wait and no auto duplex.

Far end of it, the Dell 1355cnw wireless connection and its easy controls can lead your group, team or business on easiest printing process, but it only takes a little patient in printing multiple documents.

This printer is best with Mac and Windows operating systems, it can printout for about 30,000 pages per month and can also perform as a high quality scanner. Having a 150 sheet paper tray makes it more suitable for small to medium sized businesses with only moderate printing usage/needs.
