There are lots of different types, brands, and models of printers in the printing industry these days. The combinations of different technologies and processes makes them more specific for different types of businesses or groups, just like the LED printers that are now combined with color laser models, multifunction processes such as scanning, copying, and faxing that are now offered in inkjet printers, and vice versa. That makes the searching for the right kind of printer a very time consuming task and one of the hard things to do, most especially when you are on a budget.

So, how are you going to find that golden printer that will best fit for your business or working group?

First, Let us define  the words " Workgroup/Business Suitable Printer"

The right Business or Working Group printer must have the good qualities that will provide the needs of the workgroup or the firm in terms of printing, like having a fast printing, expandable memory, optional hard drive, accepts remanufactured cartridges (like, HP CE250A), usable applications, and heavy paper tray capacity. These features will make it more valuable and very functionable to use.

But remember, to best indicate the durability of every printer that you buy, you should rely on its monthly duty cycle data, this will prove that it is worth it to buy.

Here are the other simple steps to guide you:

Match your needs not wants. When you are going to buy a printer, make sure that you are focused in finding the printer that you need instead of your want and remember that it is not about the latest, it is about functionality. By knowing the process of your business or working group and creating a list of functions that you need will help you determine what is the better printer for you.

Laser or Inkjet Printer?. Laser printers are good in printing solid text and graphics, while inkjet printers are excellent in printing colorful images. To help you decide on what is the best for your group or business, try to analyze how many will use the printer for image printing and how many wants a little bit fast but solid colored prints (like, word printing). If you already weighted the users and the needs you can now better decide what is the best to purchase.

Multifunction vs Stand-alone printer. If you already have a fax, scanner, and copy machine them I would suggest that you should get the stand-alone printer. But if you don't have anyone of those it is good to purchase the multifunction printer to help you with the other functions. But remember that once you got the hardware problem or error on your machine one or maybe all of those features will get affected.

Compatibility check. Since that you are going to incorporate the printers in different computer Operating Systems (such as, Windows, Linux, and Mac) it is better to know if the printer that you purchased is compatible with your OS.

Reliability and Cost. In the market today there are lots of printer brands that may vary in price but with the same function or features. You can find the best printer by searching online or going to different stores, doing this will help you find the suitable printer with the processes or functions and quality that you want at affordable price.
